The US Army Contracting Agency at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD plans to enter into sole source negotiations with Battelle Marine Sciences Laboratory located in Sequim, Washington for health risk assessments related to metal and organic chemical contamination at various military sites. Under authority granted by 10 USC 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, the contract will support the US Army Center for Health Promotion and Preventive Medicine (USACHPPM) by analyzing water and sediment/tissue samples collected by USACHPPM personnel. Battelle Marine Sciences Laboratory will conduct the chemical measurements to determine the presence and extent of contamination. This procurement is a sole source award with a base year and four option years. The contract falls under NAICS code 541380, with a size standard of $10 million.
