NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE

The Executive Office of the President intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 and under the authority for other than full and open competition. Authority: 41 U.S.C. 253(f)(1)(A). Justification: Supplies and services required are available from only one responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This requirement is to provide a commercially available subscription to the Macroeconomic Advisers' (MA) Model Service. This service provides clients access to the MA/United States (US) model and simulation software to create customized forecasts and analyze alternative scenarios. The service provides online access at www.macroadvisers.com to historical data files, tables, monthly forecast updates, MA forecasts, the MA Outlook Commentary, Forecast Details and a range of supporting MA reports. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which will be considered by the Government. The response must be in writing with clear and convincing evidence to support respondent's ability to provide timely and effective services within three (3) calendar days of this publication. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government.
