Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source

The Department of Defense, through MICC Ft. Gordon in Georgia and on behalf of DD Eisenhower Army Medical Center, plans to award a sole source contract to the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) for physician residency training services in the United States. This award is made under NAICS code 611710 and is based on the determination that only one responsible source is available to provide these services, in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1). The procurement will utilize Simplified Acquisition Procedures and commercial acquisition procedures outlined in FAR parts 13 and 12, respectively. No competitive solicitation will be issued, and interested parties must demonstrate compelling reasons why competition is advantageous before the deadline, June 11, 2019, at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Responses must be submitted in writing to the specified contract specialist, and oral communications are not accepted.
