Full Description

This announcement constitutes a synopsis. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an invitation for Bid (IFB), nor is it to be construed as a commitment by the government. The 6th Contracting Squadron intends to award a direct firm fixed priced contract to Digital Systems of Florida, INC with 4 option years. On 3 July 2018, a Sources Sought was posted on FBO seeking out any other potential offerors. The Sources Sought was posted on FBO for two weeks, ending 18 July 2018. During this time, we only received one response, from Digital Voice Systems of Florida, who stated they could meet all the capabilities of this requirement. No other parties were identified that could support this effort. The proposed period of performance is 30 September 2018 to 29 September 2023. The contractor shall provide a Fusion Dictation System hardware upgrade and preventative maintenance to support on-site transcription services to the standards specified within the Statement of Need (SON). The contractor will provide all qualified personnel, supervision, and other items necessary to perform contracted services. The government reserves the right to award to a contractor other than the lowest price. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541511. The solicitation will be conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and supplemented by FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. Anticipate award of 15 August 2018 with an anticipated start date of 30 September 2018. Market research was conducted for the Fusion Dictation System hardware upgrade and preventative mainentance and Digital Systems of Florida, Inc. is the only contractor found able to supply this hardware upgrade and maintenance as we require. If no response to this notice is received by 10:00 AM EST on Monday, August 13, 2018, the award for this requirement will be made to Digital Systems of Florida, Inc.
