The Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) plans to issue a sole source contract modification to increase the ceiling on an existing firm-fixed price, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract (N66001-20-D-3434) for AN/FPN-68A Precision Approach Radar system hardware. This hardware includes transmit/receive modules, waveform generators, up converters, circuit card assemblies, power supplies, and electromechanical relays, all designed to ensure compatibility and interoperability with current AN/FPN-68A operating systems. The contract modification will add up to $2 million to the ceiling to support Air Force Bases and Foreign Military Sales locations, with funding provided at the task order level. The contract falls under NAICS code 334511 and includes an ordering period through July 23, 2024, if all option years are exercised. This action is justified as a sole source procurement, with only one responsible source capable of meeting the agency requirements. While this notice signals the intent to increase the contract ceiling, it is not a solicitation for competitive proposals and does not limit the government’s eventual acquisition strategy. Questions regarding the modification can be directed to the listed contacts within NIWC Pacific.
