Notice of Intent to Increase the Ceiling on N66001-18-C-4019

This is a notice of intent to increase the ceiling of Contract N66001-18-C-4019 to Cole Engineering Services Inc (CESI), awarded by SSC Pacific on behalf of the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), Strategic Technology Office, (STO) on 21 February 2018. The performers effort, Data Service for Prototype Resilient Operations Testbed for Expeditionary Urban Scenarios (PROTEUS) Technical Library was selected as the primary performer for Technical Area 3 (TA3): Systems for Functions to support STO with a technical library to provide Parametric Data Service (PDS). The PDS developed in TA3 will provide data required for the successful implementation and evaluation of the Technical Area 1 (TA1): Composable Operations Development Environment and the Technical Area 2 (TA2): Functional Compiler by providing data for Lethal Fires, Maneuver, and Command and Control capabilities. This additional effort is to provide additional parametric data services, supporting tools, and aggregate data for new communications and logistic models to be implemented as part of PROTEUS Phase 1. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541715. Due to the nature of Research and Development efforts, DARPA STO could not have reasonably estimated the need for the additional effort required under this effort, that will benefit from this additional tasking being included under the current contract. This action includes a ceiling increase of approximately $192,794.00. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes, however, interested parties may submit comments in writing to the Contract Specialist, Israel Alvarado, Code 22720, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Pacific who may be reached by telephone at +1 (555) 000-0000 or via email to contact@example.gov.
