AI Contract Overview

This contract represents a sole source, firm fixed price requirement issued under FAR 6.302-1, specifying that Stanley Industrial and Automotive LLC - CribMaster is the exclusive provider for the necessary services and parts related to the CribMaster Weigh Station. The unique technical specifications and proprietary software access restrict repair and maintenance to CribMaster, as no other vendors possess the ability, certification, or warranty capabilities required for this equipment. Awarding this contract to any other source would not only void the current warranty but would also force the government to incur costs exceeding $40,000 to replace the system. CribMaster parts are the only compatible OEM components, and the company does not have authorized resellers, further reinforcing the sole source justification. The contract’s period of performance is limited to 30 calendar days following award, and it falls under the NAICS code 811310 with a business size standard of $8 million. To be considered, the offeror must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) with the applicable NAICS code. The contracting office is the Naval Supply Fleet Logistics Center in Jacksonville, Florida, which issued this notice on March 26, 2021. The intended project ensures continued operational capability of the CribMaster Weigh Station through specialized and authorized maintenance services, safeguarding both equipment integrity and government investment.
