SPECIAL NOTICE/SOLE SOURCE


The Billings Area Indian Health Service hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source, firm fixed price Six (6) month Bridge Contract for Audiology Services to Central Montana Hearing and Audiology PC, a small business; Period of Performance will be from August 01, 2026, through January 31, 2027.


The Contract is to provide a firm fixed price service agreement for Audiology Services provided  by Central Montana Hearing and Audiology, located at the Crow Service Unit (CSU), Crow Agency Montana; The total estimated value of the Contract is estimated to be around $43,200.00; This sole source contracting action is pursuing a waiver from competing this requirement based upon the application of FAR 6.103-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements and is based upon market research.


Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission objective of agency standardization, data center standardization, and network security;
The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
