Full Description

The Federal Bureau of Prison, Federal Correctional Institution Seagoville, Seagoville, Texas, intends to award sole source procurement under Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Greyhound Bus Lines, 350 N St. Paul Street Dallas, 75266 for the provision of transportation of inmates upon release from our FCI and Camp facilities. Services will include transportation from Dallas, Texas to locations across the United States. The period of performance for this procurement will be October 1, 2014 through September 30, 2015. The NAICS Code is 485113. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. Other vendors who believe they can meet the requirement may provide written notification to the contracting officer by 12:00 PM CST, October 14, 2014. Supporting evidence must be furnished in detail to demonstrate the ability of the vendor to supply services that will meet the requirement in a satisfactory manner. Vendor must also provide references and show competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. Interested firms must provide a Capability Statement with the following information: company name, address, point of contact, telephone and fax number, email address, business size, and DUNS number. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source procurement to Greyhound Bus Lines. Responses may be emailed by the deadline stated above.
