This is a notice of intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested.
This procurement is for a one-year (07/01/2026 – 06/30/2027) contract to provide continued licensing, maintenance, and support for the Careware Nurse Self-Scheduling and Productivity System currently deployed within the NIH Clinical Center Nursing Department. This system improves efficiency in generating monthly staff schedules and provides critical data to support budgetary planning and staffing decisions. This is a sole source requirement to ensure uninterrupted system availability and operational continuity.
This acquisition is being conducted using policies unique to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 –Simplified Acquisition Procedures, Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1), For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstance of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available.
