USACE, ERDC Contracting Office proposes to issue a sole source award to Thomson Reuters (Scientific), Inc., 3501 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104-3302. The purpose of the award is for the vendor to provide Science Citation Index Expanded backfiles for the years 1988-1997. Thomson Reuters (Scientific), Inc. is the sole publisher and provider of electronic access to their journals. This fact, coupled with the need for uninterrupted access to this information, makes Thomson Reuters (Scientific), Inc. the sole supplier for this project. A firm-fixed price award will be made utilizing the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Any other responsible source able to provide the supplies is encouraged to respond to this announcement within 3 days after its publication. This is not a request for quotations and there is no solicitation available at this time.
