Notice of Intent to Sole Source

Notice of intent to award a sole source requirement to Restaurant Industry Systems Inc (DBA: RIS Inc), for software support for 2 proprietary software systems created by RIS for the use of Customs and Border Protection that support the Electronic Collections System. This proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals to be used for consideration of future requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and an RFQ will not be issued, however, all proposals received by the closing date and time will be reviewed and used for future requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any vendor who wishes to submit a proposal for future consideration should email their company's capabilities information to the attention of Robert Sieferman no later than 8:00 AM EST, June 9, 2009 at contact@example.gov. Only email responses will be accepted.
