The Defense Health Agency (DHACA), Contracting Activity - Healthcare Contracting Division - Northeast (HCD-NE) intends to Award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order on a sole source basis to Steris Corporation, 5960, Heisley Rd, Mentor, OH 44060-1834, utilizing the authority of Title 41 U.S.C. §1901(e)(2) as implemented in Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) FAR 12.102 (a): For acquisitions valued at or below the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), document the decision that only one source is available and the basis for the decision.

This requirement is for the procurement and installation of one (1) ENDODRY Endoscope Drying and Storage Cabinet at the Keller Army Community Hospital (KACH), West Point, NY. The ENDODRY drying cabinet is critical infrastructure for the safe drying and storage of flexible endoscopes following high-level reprocessing.

The Government intends to procure from only one source under the authority of RFO FAR 12.102 (a): For acquisitions valued at or below the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), document the decision that only one source is available and the basis for the decision. Agencies may contract without providing for full and open competition when the supplies or services required by the agency are available from only one responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
