Notice of Intent to Sole Source FLEX-ES and tServer Support

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT: This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract to the T3 Technologies, Inc. for a 1-year FLEX-ES and tServer remote hardware and software support and diagnostics and Fundamental Software Inc. (FSI) ICA adapter maintenance agreement on the existing Strategic Automated Command Control System (SACCS) Host primary and disaster recovery tServer systems for the 55th Strategic Communications Squadron (55 SCS). JUSTIFICATION AUTHORITY: FAR 6.302-1 JUSTIFICATION OF SOLE SOURCE: T3 Technologies, Inc. is the only is the only vendor for technical support of their proprietary tServer hardware and software configuration that supports the unique IBM mainframe emulation requirements. FSI is the proprietor and sole manufacturer of the ICA adapter hardware/software needed to emulate the unique IBM mainframe system and T3 Technologies is the only company authorized by FSI to provide sales, maintenance and extended hardware warranty support for FSI. T3 Technologies was the developer and integrator of the "tServer" system that Offutt AFB now used for production, development, and backup purpose The Government has confirmed with Fundamental Software Inc. that T3 Technologies Inc. is the only authorized dealer of extended hardware/software maintenance for their FLEX-ES and ICA adaptors. Furthermore, the Government has confirmed that although T3 Tech at one time distributed the tServer directly and through authorized resellers, their reseller network has been disbanded and T3 is the only source for tServers, tServer parts, and tServer maintenance and support. The 55th Strategic Communications Squadron was unable to find another source for a similar product that provided all of the needs hardware/software maintenance support. NAICS CODE: North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 541511 - Custom Computer Programming Services, with a size standard of $27.5M.
