The U.S. Army Space & Missile Defense Command, representing the U.S. Critical Reagents Program, plans to procure Electrochemiluminescence (ECL) MINITube assays, ECL Positive Controls, and bulk ECL reagents from BioVeris Corporation on a sole source basis. BioVeris Corporation, located in Gaithersburg, MD, is identified as the only qualified supplier capable of producing ECL MINITubes compatible with Government-owned M-Series M1M analyzers, as well as bulk reagents suitable for M-Series M8 and M384 analyzers. The existing Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract with BioVeris is expected to be modified to extend the performance period by one year to meet the needs of the National Capital Region Silver Standard Laboratory and other Department of Defense sites. The contract falls under the NAICS code 334519 and is managed through the Department of Defense at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama.
