The U.S. Department of the Air Force, specifically the 48 CONS at RAF Lakenheath, intends to solicit a single-source contract from NEROS Inc. for the procurement of five Neros Archer 8-inch block 2 drones. This acquisition also includes AFSOC approved Train the Trainer training to ensure personnel can continue certifying members on system operations. The government has determined that NEROS Inc. is the only reasonably available source due to the proprietary nature of the equipment and the specific capabilities of the contractor. This notice serves as an informational announcement rather than a formal request for quote. Interested parties who believe they can meet these requirements may respond by providing a brief description of their relevant experience. The government maintains the discretion to evaluate all responses and decide whether to proceed with the sole source award or open the competition. The response deadline for interested vendors is September 7, 2026.
