The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to the American College of Radiology to transition the NIOSH B Reader training and certification program from in-person to a fully virtual format. This effort aims to maintain a qualified pool of B Readers by delivering three cycles of virtual training and certification, including the setup and configuration of a secure learning management system, live expert-led instruction totaling approximately 20 hours per course, and remotely proctored examinations with identity verification and real-time monitoring.
