1. Description of Requirement
The Indian Health Service (IHS), Albuquerque Area Office, Jicarilla Service Unit, intends to issue a sole source commercial item contract under FAR Part 12 for proprietary cloud‑based revenue cycle management tools provided exclusively by:

Countertops and shelves/holding brackets for Pharmacy workspace with specific lengths for Counseling Rooms 1 & 2, north & west walls, and south wall. Shelves will also be placed on back wall of pharmacy department.


These commercial products are compatible with the Jicarilla Service Unit’s existing Pharmacy equipment and are licensed in accordance with FAR 12.212.


2. Justification for Sole Source
Market research confirms that Herman Miller is the only responsible source capable of providing and supporting these unique products and installation. No other vendor has the legal or technical capacity to offer, integrate, or maintain the required products.
Sole‑source action is justified under FAR 6.302‑1.


3. This Notice Is Not a Request for Quotes
This Special Notice is issued only to announce the Government’s intent to negotiate solely with Herman Miller.

4. Capability Statement Instructions
