AI Contract Overview
The U.S. Navy’s Fleet Readiness Center Southeast in Jacksonville, Florida, requires scheduled semi-annual preventive maintenance, personnel training on maintenance procedures, and emergent repairs for two government-owned Aluminum Ion Vapor Disposition (AIVD) systems. To meet this need, the Commander, Fleet Readiness Centers, based in Patuxent River, Maryland, intends to award a sole-source purchase order to Pregl Services Inc. under FAR 6.103-1(b), citing the company as the only responsible source due to its exclusive proprietary licensing and restrictive data rights essential for servicing these specialized systems. The notice was posted on August 5, 2026, with responses due by August 10, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The place of performance is in Jacksonville, Florida, where the AIVD systems are located, and all work must be performed in accordance with the government’s operational and technical requirements. The primary point of contact for inquiries or submissions is Jenna Lang of the Fleet Readiness Center, reachable via email at Jenna.l.lang2.civ@us.navy.mil.
