NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE – SAS Institute Inc

PSC DA10 – BUSINESS APPLICATION SOFTWARE AS A SERVICE
The U. S. International Trade Commission (USITC or Commission), intends to make an award, on a sole source basis, to SAS Institute Inc, 100 Sas Campus Dr, Cary, North Carolina, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
This requirement is for annual maintenance renewal for SAS software. SAS software provides over 200 statistical and analytical components and the most up-to-date statistical techniques. The suite of SAS products is statistical analysis software that users have been use to perform data management and statistical analysis functions. This software is utilized by various offices throughout the USITC in the daily performance of their assigned responsibilities. SAS's analytical software allows for data cleaning, analysis of surveys, econometrics and time series, matrix programming, exploratory data analysis, and data visualization all in one product, unlike competitors. SAS software is proprietary to SAS Institute, Inc.
The period of performance is one year, with 3 option years:
