Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Vehicle Lease

The 501st Combat Support Wing Regional Contracting Office intends to award a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR 6.303, only one source being capable of providing the quantity of vehicles needed within the short, required timeframe because of its critical nature. Other commercial operations will not be able to support the requirement primarily owing to the short-notice period and quantity of lease vehicles needed. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for the requirement nor will one be provided. A Governmental request for documentation or additional information or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response. Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that includes technical data and cost information, sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to meet the requirement. All capability statements received by the due date of this notice will be considered by the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed with a sole source procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Capability statements are due on 19 SEPTEMBER 2023 by 14:00 PM Greenwich Mean Time.
