This order is to purchase a Zeiss Laser Scanning Confocal Microscope, LSM 800. This purchase will be possible through a Trade up program, in addition to the trade-in several of the existing parts will be repurposed into the construction of the LSM 800. In addition, we require our system to provide maximum scanning resolution of 6,000 x 6,000 pixels, linear scanning of the scanned object and variable beam splitter dichroics to divert the respective spectral parts of the fluorescent emission light. No other commercially available instrument is available that meets all of these criteria. This requirement is expected to be awarded in September, 2015. CARL ZEISS Microscopy, LLC. does not have resellers of their products.
