The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity intends to award a sole source contract to Office Environments International for the purchase and installation of Allsteel Consensys Cubicles and Accessories. This addition will complement the existing Allsteel modular furniture currently in use, ensuring continuity and avoiding disruptions. Awarding this contract to any other manufacturer would cause significant delays and increased costs, affecting several key projects already underway. The procurement will proceed under other than full and open competition as outlined by FAR 6.302, allowing the government to expedite the process. While the award is planned to be sole source, other responsible suppliers are invited to submit capability statements, proposals, or quotations within fifteen days of the notice publication. If no responses are received within this timeframe, the contract will be awarded without further solicitation. The primary contact for this procurement is Craig E. Anderson, and the solicitation reference is W74MYF8283N144. The contract falls under NAICS code 423210, which covers furniture merchant wholesalers. This approach is designed to maintain project momentum and control costs while fulfilling a critical furniture requirement for the Army medical research facility.

The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity proposes to award to Office Environments International, 2700 South Quincy Street, Suite 320, Arlington, VA 22206, on a sole source basis, for the purchase and installation of Allsteel Consensys Cubicles and Accessories to be added to existing Allsteel modular furniture. This procurement shall be under other than full and open competition procedures in accordance with FAR 6.302. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. If no written responses are received at least fifteen (15) days after the publication of this response, the purchase will be awarded without further notice.
