Full Description

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a fixed-price purchase order on a sole source basis to Money Media for access to Ignites.com, FundFire.com, and BoardIQ.com. The contracting officer has determined that Money Media is the only source that can reasonably meet the SEC's requirement in accordance with FAR Part 13.501(a). Money Media's publications uniquely fill the requirement because Money Media's publications are copyrighted by Money Media, and are not available from any other source. They contain analysis and reporting created by Money Media's editors and authors in the specialty industry of mutual funds, mutual compliance and governance, and money management. The uniqueness of the information, combined with the copyright protection, makes Money-Media the only known source. The period of performance for the purchase order is anticipated to be a base year and two (2) one (1) year option years. The SEC intends to award a purchase order to Money Media on or about December 22, 2014. This notice is not a competitive request for proposals. A competitive solicitation will not be issued. However, the government will give consideration to interested parties that identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals by the response date of this notice.
