NPDES Oak Ridge Park East Stream Restoration

The NPDES Oak Ridge Park East Stream Restoration project, managed by the Charles County Government's Capital Project Management Division, is a construction effort to meet Maryland Department of the Environment and National Pollution Discharge Elimination System permit requirements. Located at Oak Ridge Park in Hughesville, Maryland, the scope of work includes installing a stormwater detention facility, restoring approximately 1,400 linear feet of an eroding unnamed tributary to Gilbert Run using in-stream and bank stabilization structures, and stabilizing 120 linear feet of an eroding outfall channel.
