NRC Ottawa Offices Janitorial Services

The National Research Council of Canada is soliciting offers from Canadian suppliers to provide comprehensive janitorial services for its Ottawa offices, including the Montreal Road Campus, 100 Sussex Drive, and the Uplands Campus. The scope of work encompasses routine, scheduled, on-demand, and emergency cleaning, as well as waste and recycling support and specialized cleaning for laboratories, animal facilities, and controlled areas. Financial requirements include a bid security deposit of 10 percent of the bid price up to 2 million dollars. Proposals must be submitted electronically in two separate volumes, technical and financial, by October 22, 2026. The resulting contract will mandate the use of biodegradable waste liners with at least 60 percent post-consumer recycled content and the maintenance of a detailed product matrix for all chemicals used on-site.
