AI Contract Overview
The contract pertains to the procurement of a pressure transmitter identified by the military specification MIL-T-24742, with the exact part designation M24742C-S-52-D-X-DC-A, which is classified as a critical application item. The device is a compound pressure gauge designed for seawater applications, operating on a two-wire DC power system with a milliampere output, and must comply with all technical and quality requirements referenced in the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, incorporating specific inspection, packaging, and marking standards such as MIL-STD-1916 for sampling, MIL-STD-2073-1E for packaging, and MIL-STD-129 for labeling. Zero non-conformances are required in sampling unless otherwise stipulated, and attributes are to be classified with specified verification levels or AQLs. The item must be free from intentional mercury or mercury compounds, except in designated functional uses like batteries or sensors, with portable mercury-containing devices requiring a secondary containment barrier compliant with NAVSEA standards. Delivery is required FOB origin within 99 days, with no variance permitted in quantity and inspection and acceptance occurring at the origin. Packaging and palletization must conform to DLA’s specific requirements, and marking must adhere strictly to MIL-STD-129 without any special codes. The consignee is the DLA Distribution Center in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, with the NSN 6695016040260 and a purchase quantity of 10 units. The contract was issued as a Women-Owned Small Business Set-Aside under solicitation SPE4A5-26-T-332B, with a required delivery date of October 28, 2025, and a need ship date of November 12, 2025, under a procurement initiated in August 2026. All provisions, including material restrictions, quality assurance, and transportation protocols, are governed by referenced DLA and DoD directives without exception.
