This TF-1 is for submitting a work induction request for AE design and construction related to the interior renovation of Building 3 in its entirety. The construction will proceed by bay by bay, starting with A bay. Upon completion of A bay, work will then move to B bay, followed by C bay and finally D bay. GTGXMJ The scope of work for the AE design of the entire building 3 shall include, but is not limited to, the following: - Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection and interior design etc. - The exterior walls of Building 3 will remain. However, all interior furred walls, insulation, and all exterior glazing - including windows, storefront systems, and doors with glazing are to be redesigned, removed and replaced. - Restrooms have been relocated to be centralized near the oasis areas. Finishes, plumbing fixtures, toilet partitions in restrooms are to be redesigned. - Existing Life safety egress paths and fire protection systems must be evaluated during the design phase. - Roofing repairs and patching due to rooftop HVAC equipment replacements must be evaluated in the design phase. - In the design phase, it is essential to evaluate whether the existing HVAC units can adequately handle the expected load without compromising performance. The assessment shall include a detailed load calculation, airflow analysis and an evaluation of equipment capacity to ensure efficient operation and occupant comfort. - Interior lighting and mechanical systems will undergo further evaluation in the design phase to improve climate control and meet indoor lighting requirements. - Storefront systems must be evaluated to meet UFC 1-200-02 High Performance and Sustainable Building Requirements and International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) requirements. - Interior spaces will be designed to ensure acoustic ...
