Temporary eyewash stations are not safety compliant in this HAZMAT warehouse & there is no water fountain easily accessible for the warehouse workers in any of the three cells of X218. Eye wash stations are considered third party equipment and need to be replaced due to IG safety recommendation. To plumb all eyewash stations, a design will be needed to satisfy NAVFAC's requirements once a scope is completed. Also, need to add one water drinking fountain to Cell 1 to allow warehouse workers the ability to access a fountain without having to exit the building to walk around to the separate administrative office, only accessible on West end entrance. ----- Resurface Charging Room Floor. Room is 16x10 feet The concrete floor in the MHE charging room for X218 is in poor shape. Much like roads get potholes, this floor has multiple trip hazards from years of abuse with battery acid leaking onto the concrete eating away at it. The concrete needs to be cleaned and resurfaced.
