NSWCPD requests a 6 month PoP for the design effort. The development of the Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E) controls is the primary focus of the Integrated Power and Energy System (IPES) Test Facility (ITF). This program includes a requirement for HM&E controls system development. To investigate and develop the control systems requires a workspace of approximately 3300 sf. The requested design shall incorporate the use of the existing platform from the DDX/DDG-1000 test site in the northeast corner of bldg. 77H and user requirements as identified in the attachment. The existing DDX/DDG 1000 site is approximately 106 ft. x 32 ft. The design shall incorporate a site investigation to obtain all building data, existing site conditions and determination of utilities to meet user requirements. The design shall include all space requirements related to architecture, security, electrical, cooling and fire protection. All design elements shall consider NSWCPD standards and meet the applicable code requirements from State, local, and Federal authorities. TF-1 # NSWC-0020-22 Submitted: 5/27/2021
