JM21 NSWC BLDG 109 RENOVATION DESIGN 19386693 SEE TF1 FOR SOW SHAR 13655 - JM21(DESIGN), JM22 (EXECUTION) - Building 109 - Renovate Building 109 was designed and constructed in 1942. The building will be renovated to accommodate the Chemical/Material Analysis Lab (currently located in 2707). It was previously categorized as an explosive operating facility. This project will renovate the entire building, approximately 10,000 SF. The upgrading and modernization will include exterior improvements, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems to meet current laboratory standards. This project will include any asbestos abatement needed throughout the entire building. A building-wide backup power supply/generator is required with the renovation/relocation. Currently, the 109/142/143/2707 complex experiences numerous power outages and fluctuations which have damaged equipment and directly delayed testing execution. NSWC Crane would like to begin the NOSSA approval process (if needed) to ensure an on time award and execution. Funding Type: Corporate Indirect Planned design award: FY21 Q4 Planned execution award: FY22 Q4 ***SOW & ROM Attached***
