Full Description

Intent to Single Source a Requirement The Indian Health Service (IHS), Shiprock Service Unit, intends to negotiate a single-sourced, firm-fixed-price contract with Hill-Rom, Inc. (UEI: KNLGMBCHK347) for the procurement of a software maintenance and equipment support agreement. The vendor is the Original Equipment Manufacturer and is the only vendor authorized to provide these services for the Voalte Nurse Call System. The NAICS code is 541511, with an associated small business size standard of $34.0M. In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), for purchase not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, Contracting Officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. This notice of intent to award a single source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response(s) is received by 12:00 PM Mountain Daylight Time (MDT) on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, the contract will be issued without further notice. Responses should be received by the deadline stated above.
