AI Contract Overview
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for the supply of NUT,#10-24,SSTL,SLOTTED under solicitation number 2098972, with responses due by May 20, 2026. All bids must comply with DART’s Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which govern the entire contract, and must be submitted exclusively through the BONFIRE platform after registration and access to the BidTable system. The procurement requires FOB Destination shipping terms, meaning the seller bears all freight costs and assumes responsibility for delivery to the destination in Texas, with no acceptance of FOB Origin or Prepay and Add terms. Time and rate of delivery are critical, and failure to meet specified delivery schedules constitutes default and may result in termination of the contract. The seller must ensure all supplies meet merchantable quality standards and are fit for their intended use, with inspection and acceptance occurring at the destination by DART. Invoices must be submitted electronically to [email hidden] in triplicate, with one marked as original, and must include the PO number, item number, description, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals to qualify for payment, which will be made Net 30 days from the later of invoice receipt or order receipt. Contractors must certify they do not support any boycott of Israel and are not listed on the Texas Comptroller’s list of entities supporting foreign terrorist organizations. Additionally, DART requires affirmative action to promote equal opportunity for minority- and women-owned subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers. No specific contract value, pricing, quantity, or delivery schedule details are available without accessing the secure BidTable system, and no Contracting Officer, COR, or COTR contact information is disclosed. The contract does not require UEI, CAGE, or socioeconomic certifications beyond the mandatory anti-boycott and anti-terrorism representations, and no detailed packaging, marking, or inspection criteria beyond general compliance are provided.

--- **PURCHASE ORDER TERMS AND CONDITIONS** -- All purchase orders are subject to Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority's Terms and Conditions. The complete PO Terms and Conditions PDF is available for download in the "Supporting Documentation" section below.
**Freight Terms Notice -** Please ensure that all bids/quotes reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with the freight cost included in the overall price. DART does not typically accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add terms.
**Delivery Terms Notice -** Time and rate of deliveries are of the essence of this order. Seller's failure to deliver at the time and rate specified shall be the basis for rejection and default termination by the Authority (*Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority*).
**Payment Terms Notice -** All vendors are advised that DART's payment terms are Net 30. Invoices shall be submitted (contact@example.gov) in triplicate (one copy shall be marked 'Original"), unless otherwise specified, and shall contain the following information: purchase order number; item number; purchase order description of supplies, services, or construction; sizes; quantities; unit prices; and extended totals. Unless otherwise specified, payment will be made on partial deliveries accepted by the Authority when the amount due on such deliveries so warrants. *Invoices will be paid 30 days from receipt of the invoice or 30 days from receipt of the order, whichever is later, unless other payment terms have been agreed upon in writing.*
**Termination for Default Notice -** The Contracting Officer may by written notice terminate this order, in whole or in part, for failure of the Seller to perform any of the provisions hereof within the time periods specified. In such event, the Seller shall be liable for damages, including the excess cost of reprocuring similar supplies or services or completing construction; provided that, if (i) it is determined for any reason that the Seller was not in default, or (ii) the Seller's failure to perform is without his and his subcontractor's control, fault, or negligence, the termination shall be deemed to be a termination for convenience under paragraph 12. As used in this provision, the term "subcontractor" and "subcontractors" means subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers at any level.
