OER - Sonar software FY27 - FY32

The Department of Commerce is forecasting a contract for sonar software spanning fiscal years 2027 through 2032. The project focuses on the evaluation and analysis of sonar and multiple sonar arrays to enhance ocean and marine mapping capabilities. The primary objective is to provide advanced tools for viewing, processing, integrating, and manipulating diverse oceanographic data, including seafloor depth, backscatter, and hardness levels, as well as midwater data for previously unexplored regions of the water column. This initiative is designed to support ocean exploration expeditions, scientific research, and marine resource management efforts to improve the understanding of both U.S. and international ocean spaces. The work will be performed in Silver Spring, falling under NAICS code 541511.
