Off-Site Sterile Processing Support Services for General Leonard Community Hospital, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri

The Defense Health Agency is seeking capabilities information for a firm fixed-price contract to provide interim off-site sterile processing and logistical support for General Leonard Wood Community Hospital in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. This support is required to maintain operational readiness during Sterile Processing Department renovations and for overflow needs. The scope of work includes the pickup of contaminated items, decontamination, inspection, assembly, and sterilization using steam and low-temperature modalities, with an estimated weekly volume of 225 standard tray units. Notably, the processing of flexible endoscopes is explicitly excluded from this contract. The contractor must be licensed and certified in Missouri and adhere to strict quality and safety standards, including ANSI/AAMI ST79, ANSI/AAMI ST108, OSHA, and The Joint Commission guidelines. Key requirements include the use of environmentally controlled transport vehicles with active logging, a 24-hour turnaround for weekday pickups, and a maximum 72-hour turnaround for weekend pickups.
