Full Description

The Office of Treaty Compliance (TC)) in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (Acquisition, Technology and Logistics) (OUSD(AT&L)) has a unique and broad range of arms control responsibilities. DoD must fully comply with the legal obligations imposed by arms control treaties to which the U.S. is a party. This effort requires highly specialized, in-depth knowledge of a broad range of strategic and conventional arms control treaties and agreements. The contractor will be required to conduct original research and analysis of arms control issues, plan for and monitor compliance and implementation of new and existing arms control agreements, provide advice and assistance to DoD elements/agencies regarding the impact of treaty obligations on RDTE and acquisition programs, provide information management support, and assess alternative positions on arms control issues and their potential impacts on DoD RDTE and acquisition programs and/or on U.S. strategies.
