See atachment for combined synopsis/solicitation Here are some questions that the Navy has recieved and their answers: Questions: Voltage Requirement______ Inlet Water Content: _______ ppm Target Oil Content Out: _______ppm Oil Discharge Pressure:________psig Oily Water Source: Bilge, Sump/Tank, Condenser (dryer), or Constant Feed Suction Head: ______ feet Controls: Nema 4x Control Box (Standard) or Hazardous Area Class I Div II (optional) Answers: The voltage we will need is 3 Phase 440/480V 60HZ. The Navy does not know the ppm content of the inlet tanks, but some tanks have just a skim of oil on the surface, some have 6 inches worth of oil on the surface in 5 feet worth of water. Target oil content out must be less than 15ppm (regulation). We want it to be able to filter better to less than 10ppm. Oil discharge pressure, no requirement. Suction head will be greater than 20 feet, that is why we will be staging diaphragm pumps to pump into the unit and why we have the motorized ball valve to control the flow. We only need the standard control box, we are not working in an explosive enviornment. Please note that no more questions will be answered after March 18, 2009.
