OLINK EXPLORE HT SERVICES

The National Institutes of Health, through the Office of the Department of Health and Human Services, is seeking services under a non-competitive procurement for the Olink Explore HT platform to analyze proteomic changes in patients with Myelodysplastic Syndromes, a group of heterogeneous stem cell malignancies marked by chronic inflammation, peripheral cytopenias, and bone marrow dysplasia. The project aims to leverage preliminary proteomic data from bone marrow plasma to uncover disease biology and identify potential therapeutic vulnerabilities. The Olink Explore HT platform is explicitly required due to its proprietary high-throughput, multiplexed protein detection capabilities using low-volume primary specimens, and only Olink’s proprietary workflow and associated plates are deemed acceptable to ensure the necessary analysis accuracy, comparability, and direct technical support that third-party providers cannot guarantee. This acquisition is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures per FAR Subpart 13 and is not expected to exceed the $350,000 threshold, allowing for a streamlined, non-competitive award process with no competitive requirements under FAR Part 6.
