On-Call Asphalt, Concrete, and Concrete Grinding Repair Services

Scope: The City of Newport Beach is seeking qualified contractors to provide citywide on-call asphalt, concrete, and concrete grinding repair services. Work will be assigned on an as-needed basis and may include street pavement repairs, concrete flatwork replacement, curb and gutter work, access ramp upgrades, and sidewalk grinding to eliminate tripping hazards. The selected contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, traffic control, and supervision necessary to perform the following services:•Full depth asphalt and concrete street removal and replacement•Partial depth asphalt grind and cap street repairs•Stripping and painting of street markings•Replacement of sidewalk panels, access ramps, cross gutters, driveway approaches, and curb and gutter, including saw cutting, root pruning, and sprinkler repairs•Sidewalk grinding to reduce tripping hazards citywide, using dry vertical carbide grinding equipment leaving a non-slip surface, meeting a minimum 1" to 1' ratio•Repairs to any private or public property damaged during a typical job assignmentAll work shall be performed in accordance with City Standards and the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction ("Greenbook") and to the highest industry standards. The City is not responsible for any errors that may occur from the printing of any of these documents by bidders, including, but not limited to: scaling issues, print quality, failure to print and submission of all required documents.
