ON-CALL CONSTRUCTION, REPAIR & DEMOLITION SERVICES

The City of Roswell owns, operates, and maintains various municipal buildings, facilities, properties, infrastructure, and other public assets that periodically require construction, repair, renovation, remodeling, maintenance, demolition, and related services. The City also administers code-enforcement, condemnation, nuisance-abatement, and public-safety activities that may result in the need to demolish or remove buildings and structures located on privately owned properties. Such projects may include structures determined by the City to be condemned, dangerous, unsafe, abandoned, fire-damaged, dilapidated, or otherwise substandard. For demolition involving privately owned property, the City will be responsible for determining that the necessary legal process has been completed and that the City has authority to proceed with the work. Contractors will perform demolition only after receiving written authorization from the City. Because the size, location, complexity, schedule, and type of work cannot always be determined in advance, the City seeks to establish multiple on-call contracts with qualified contractors capable of responding to individual project needs as they arise. Individual projects may vary significantly in size and scope and may require different trades, specialties, equipment, staffing levels, bonding capacity, or response times.
