On-Call Marine Vessel Diving Services

Pierce County is seeking qualified contractors to provide on-call marine vessel diving services under a one-year contract with an option to extend for an additional year, contingent on mutual agreement. The scope of work includes routine maintenance, repairs, and emergency inspections for two ferry vessels and other County-owned marine facilities, performed through issued Work Orders. Services encompass annual and biannual underwater inspections, including UwILD inspections mandated by the U.S. Coast Guard, hull cleaning, replacement of zinc anodes, and inspections of propulsion, electrical, ballast, firefighting, and damage control systems. The contract operates on a unit-price basis with an estimated maximum value of $400,000, though no specific unit prices are listed in the solicitation.
