The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS) Contracting Office (Code 440), hereby provides notice of its intent to award a sole-source, firm fixed contract, to Fluke Electronics, 6920 Seaway Blvd. Everett WA 98203-5829. The contract is expected to be awarded under FAR 6.302-1. A Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been prepared. The period of performance shall be from 06/18/2018 through 09/10/2018. The contract will provide for Fluke Electronics., who has proprietary information exclusive to the manufacturer. The contractor is the manufacturer of the equipment and has the proprietary information necessary to repair and maintain the equipment. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 811219-Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, with a Small Business Size Standard of $20,500,000. The Product Service Code for this acquisition is J052 Maint/Repair/Rebuild of Equipment-Measuring Tools. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than June 15, 2018 12 PM, PST. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
