This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products prepared in accordance Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO), FAR overhaul, Part 12.


This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested herein, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 70FB7026Q00000029 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for ONE FOUR (4) REEL DROP-ON CABLE REEL TRAILER required for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Mount Weather Emergency Operations Center (MWEOC) facility (19844 Blue Ridge Mountain Road, Mt. Weather, VA 20135) at the Facilities Management Division.


This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov.


The contractor shall provide the requested product/supply in accordance with the attached Statement of Work and other RFQ details. There is NO brand name requirement.


Questions shall be submitted sufficiently in advance and no later than Friday July 31, 2026, at 11:00 AM ET to permit the Government to respond, as appropriate. No additional questions will be entertained after that date/time.

The Government reserves the right to cancel or amend this RFQ, in whole or in part, at any time prior to award, and to reject any or all quotations received. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by vendors in preparing or submitting quotations, or in responding to this RFQ. No contract shall exist unless and until a written contract or order is executed by a duly warranted Contracting Officer.
