One Ton Crew Trucks

The City of Maple Ridge has issued Request for Proposal 26-071 for the supply and delivery of two new, previously unused one-ton crew cab 4x4 trucks for Maple Ridge Fire & Rescue Services. These vehicles are specifically intended for crew transportation and off-road firefighting activities, including operation on forest service roads and other unimproved surfaces. All vehicles must comply with the British Columbia Motor Vehicle Act, the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Act, and Canadian Standards Association standards. Delivery is required FOB to the City of Maple Ridge Works Yard at 23925 Dewdney Trunk Road, with an anticipated contract award in October 2026 and a requirement for delivery as soon as possible. Proposals must be submitted through the Bids and Tenders online system no later than 2:00 PM Pacific time on October 5, 2026. The City will award the contract to the proponent offering the best value based on a highest overall ranking. Evaluation criteria are weighted as follows: price at 45%, technical specifications at 30% (with a minimum required score of 24/30), and corporate qualifications, experience, warranty, service support, and delivery at 25% (with a minimum required score of 20/25). Successful vendors must provide proof of at least $5 million in vehicle public liability and property damage insurance, naming the City as a co-named insured. All invoicing must include the relevant Purchase Order number and be sent to the City's accounts payable email address to ensure timely payment.
