The project utilizes stewardship contracting authority under 16 USC 6591c to restore forest health and resiliency across 1,024 acres within recent wildfire footprints, focusing on reducing hazardous fuels, removing dead and damaged timber, maintaining and reconstructing timber haul roads, and protecting remnant green stands unaffected by the Park Fire.
