RFI:
Q1. Approximately what percentage or number of acres does the Government anticipate will require exclusively manual cutting and hand piling because of surface-water exclusions, sensitive meadows, aspen protection, or unsuitable ground conditions?
A1. Sensitive areas that may require hand treatment are expected to be less than 10% of the total acres.
Q2. Will the approximately 15% of the project designated for habitat-retention clumps be included in the measured and accepted acreage for payment?
A2. Yes
Q3. Will any reduction of the 100-foot mechanical-equipment exclusion during dry or frozen ground conditions be determined during the post-award unit-delineation process?
