Full Description

This notice is a synopsis of proposed contract action in accordance with FAR 5.2 that the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals or quotations and a competitive solicitation will not be issued for this requirement. US Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) intends to issue Contract W52P1J-17-P-0076 on a sole source basis to Red River Computer Company under the authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy Agency requirements. This contract is to provide renewal of Oracle Solaris V10 X86 Licenses in support of the Joint Management and Operations Subsystem (JMOS). The proposed contract will result in one (1) year license agreements between Red River and the Government for the use of Oracle Solaris. IAW FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii) All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The anticipated award date is no later than 08 September 2017. The period of performance is anticipated to be 08 September 2017 through 07 September 2018. Interested parties should identify themselves in writing to the Procuring Contracting Officer, Mr. Michael Lansing at michael.l.lansing2.civ@mail.mil, 309-782-7239, and the Contract Specialist, Mr. Thor Olson at thor.a.olson2.civ@mail.mil, 309-782-8678.
