The US Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center is seeking quotes for the procurement of 35 complete pump overhaul kits for the P-100 firefighting pump. The required kit, part number KA00130, includes all five individual rebuild kits necessary for the pump's maintenance and an engine decal kit. These kits must be authentic OEM products supplied by W.S. Darley-Pump Division or their authorized distributors because of the proprietary technical and engineering requirements. Delivery is expected by September 1, 2016, and the procurement will be conducted using simplified acquisition procedures under a sole-source justification, with quotations due by March 29, 2016. Offerors must have valid DUNS numbers, be registered in the System for Award Management, and provide their Tax Identification Number with their quote. Packaging and marking must comply strictly with USCG specifications, as improper packaging will lead to rejection and nonpayment. The award will be price-based, FOB Destination to Baltimore, Maryland. The solicitation references various FAR clauses related to commercial acquisition, small business set-asides, labor standards, and electronic payment. Companies interested in competing must provide evidence of OEM authorization within two days of the posting and confirm compliance with federal representations regarding foreign entity status. No drawings or detailed schematics are provided, reinforcing the requirement to source directly from the OEM or authorized distributors.
