TITLE Brandon Island Marine Infrastructure Repairs LOCATION Brandon Island, 0.45 km south of Pacific Biological Station / Victoria CCG Base, 3190 Hammond Bay Road, Nanaimo, BC SCOPE OF WORK The bidder must provide all labour, materials, equipment, and transportation required to complete the following work: replacing the existing shore anchor and installing a new system; refloating and securing the existing concrete float using approved marine methods; supplying and installing four new catwalks as specified; installing one timber float and four billets with proper alignment and flotation; and removing the existing concrete float and four catwalks located south of the main float, followed by disposal of all removed materials at approved facilities. FAMILARIAZATION OF SITE An optional site visit will be made available to suppliers invited to participate in Phase 2 – the Invitation to Tender. DELIVERY The Contractor must perform and complete the work under this project within sixteen (16) weeks of contract award.
