The 20th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a sole-source procurement action to the incumbent contractor Nilson Van and Storage for a follow-on contract for Packing and Containerization Service, Shaw AFB. This action is required to serve as a bridge contract between the existing Packing and Containerization Service Contract and new Solicitation, which will be issued in the very near future. This will allow the government sufficient time to secure an optimal new contract for support services. This is being conducted using procedures set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 13.106(b)(1). No solicitation document is available and telephone requests for information will not be honored. The Government will not reimburse for any costs connected with providing the capability information. All concerned parties with questions or concerns must contact the Contracting Officer, Ronald Alexander at ronald.alexander@shaw.af.mi l or (803) 895-5347 or the Contract Administrator, Frederick W. Rieger at frederick.rieger@shaw.af.mil or (803) 895-5349.

Solicitation # FA480326B0006
Solicitation FA480326B0006 is for a competitive total small business set-aside Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) using an Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) structure. The contract supports the 20th Civil Engineer Squadron at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina, as well as the Poinsett Electronic Warfare Range, Wateree Recreational Area, and other identified sites. This seven-year vehicle has a total aggregate maximum value of 175 million dollars and will result in the award of seven IDIQ contracts, with the top four being active. The scope of work encompasses minor construction, repair, maintenance, and renovation projects, utilizing task order methods such as simple construction, design-build, and design-bid-build. The government will rank offerors from low to high based on a seed project to determine awards. To be considered responsive, offerors must be registered in SAM, provide a past performance questionnaire, and demonstrate financial capability through a bank reference and notarized bonding information showing a minimum capacity of 7.5 million dollars per project and 40 million dollars aggregate. All task orders will be firm-fixed-price, and contractors must maintain a quality control system complying with FAR 52.246-12. Performance is subject to strict base access requirements, including REAL ID Act compliance, and adherence to Department of Defense Unified Facilities Criteria and Shaw AFB Design and Construction Standards.
